Solar PV Electrician Domestic & Commercial

Location: Field-based Covering Worcestershire & Surrounding Areas (within 70-mile radius)

Salary: £40,000 £45,000 (DOE) + Van + Fuel Card + Tools + Benefits

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

The Opportunity:

Were working in exclusive partnership with a respected, fully accredited renewable energy contractor delivering high-standard solar PV and battery installations across residential and commercial sites. With consistent local work and a long-term pipeline, this is a secure opportunity to join a supportive and growing team.

You\’ll be working across Worcestershire and neighbouring counties (typically within a 40-70 mile radius), with no overnight stays. The company has earned a strong reputation for quality, compliance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and test rooftop solar PV systems (domestic and light commercial)
  • Complete all associated AC and DC wiring and connections
  • Fit inverters, batteries, and other associated equipment
  • Work to 18th Edition and MCS standards
  • Complete installation records and handover documents
  • Liaise with project supervisors and customers to ensure a smooth delivery

What We\’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 2391 or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum 1 years experience installing solar PV systems
  • ECS Gold Card (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and a clean, professional approach to work
