The Opportunity
Valoris Group Limited are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected renewable energy contractor, well-known for their quality installations across solar PV, air source heat pumps, and battery storage systems. As their project workload continues to grow, they are seeking a qualified Approved Electrician to join their expert team, supporting residential renewables installations across Hampshire and neighbouring regions.
Role Overview
As an Approved Electrician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical installations across a variety of domestic renewable projects. While solar PV and heating system wiring experience is desirable, full training can be provided for the right candidate. Your primary focus will be on safe, compliant installations with minimal disruption to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical installation of renewable energy systems (solar PV, heating controls, battery storage)
- Carrying out testing, inspection, and commissioning works
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on-site
- Ensuring all works meet current regulations and health & safety standards
- Liaising with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified and Approved Electrician (18th Edition)
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures & compliance
- Previous experience in domestic electrical installations
- Experience with solar PV & heating systems is advantageous but not essential
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Full UK driving licence
