We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our growing team, covering domestic and light commercial projects across Surrey and Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a basic understanding of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) who is eager to develop their skills and progress into renewable heating technologies.
Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in domestic and small commercial settings
- Assist in the installation of Air Source Heat Pump systems under supervision/training
- Work closely with heating engineers to ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Diagnose and rectify plumbing and basic heating issues
- Maintain accurate job records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
- Proven experience as a plumber in domestic or light commercial environments
- Basic knowledge or exposure to Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to undertake further training in renewable heating systems
Desirable (but not essential)
- Unvented hot water (G3) certification
- Previous experience installing or maintaining renewable heating systems
- CSCS or equivalent site safety card
