Our client is looking for an experienced Site Lead Electrician to support the delivery of electrical projects across the South East. The role would suit someone confident running jobs on site, coordinating works and working closely with both the project team and the client. Organisation and communication are key to this role, as you will be responsible for helping ensure installations run smoothly while acting as a point of contact on site when required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee electrical installations on site
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities and keep works running smoothly
- Liaise with the project management team and the client where required
- Act as a key point of contact on site
- Ensure electrical installations are completed safely and to a high standard
- Support and mentor apprentices on site, helping with their development
- Maintain good organisation, communication and site coordination
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (essential)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (essential)
- ECS Gold Card (preferred)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
- Proven experience running jobs or working as a lead electrician on site
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Own transport and willingness to travel across the South East
- Flexible to stay away when required depending on project location
