Heat Pump Installer Renewables Contractor
Location: Surrey / Hampshire Border
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £40,000 £48,000 DOE + Van + Fuel Card + Benefits
About the Role:
A well-established renewables contractor is expanding their delivery team and seeking a skilled Heat Pump Installer to join their growing operations in the Surrey / Hampshire region. The company specialises in low-carbon heating systems, with a strong pipeline of residential retrofit projects across the South of England.
This is a field-based role focusing on the installation, servicing, and commissioning of Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic properties. The ideal candidate will have a background in plumbing/heating and be passionate about delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Removal and decommissioning of existing gas boiler systems
- Installation of unvented hot water cylinders and associated pipework
- Installation and commissioning of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
- Basic fault finding and servicing of installed heat pump units
- Working in line with building regulations and MCS standards
- Ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard and on schedule
- Liaising with customers, surveyors, and office support team as needed
Requirements:
- Strong plumbing and heating background (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Experience with heat pump installations (ASHP essential)
- G3 unvented qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- MCS knowledge beneficial but not essential
- F-Gas, WRAS, or electrical certs advantageous
