This is a key position for a qualified electrical professional who understands how to maintain high standards across live installations, documentation, testing and sign-off, while supporting engineers and driving best practice across the business.

The role:

  • You will take ownership of electrical quality across renewable installations, ensuring that all works are completed safely, compliantly and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality of electrical installation works across solar PV, battery storage and associated renewable systems.
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and live installation reviews.
  • Ensure all electrical works are completed in line with current regulations, internal standards and health and safety requirements.
  • Review testing, commissioning and certification to ensure full compliance and accuracy.
  • Support electricians and installation teams with technical guidance and quality improvement.
  • Identify defects, non-conformances and areas for improvement, then ensure corrective actions are completed properly.
  • Work closely with operations and management teams to maintain strong delivery standards across all projects.
  • Monitor installation performance and provide clear reporting, feedback and recommendations.
  • Help drive a right-first-time culture across the electrical division.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Fully qualified electrician with relevant industry experience.
  • Strong background in domestic electrical systems and renewable installation environments.
  • Previous experience in a quality, supervisory, testing or compliance-focused role.
  • Sound understanding of inspection, testing and electrical certification.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current wiring regulations and site compliance standards.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently while also supporting site teams and wider operations.
  • Professional, practical and solutions-led approach.

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 electrical qualification – 18th Edition Inspection and Testing.

Desirable:

  • Experience within solar PV and battery storage.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy installation standards and best practice.
  • Previous exposure to auditing, remedials or post-install quality checks.
  • ECS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.

What's On Offer:

  • £40,000 to £55,000 basic salary depending on experience.
  • Company van and fuel card.
