Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heat Pump Engineer to deliver high-quality installations and maintenance of air and ground source heat pumps across domestic, residential, and occasional commercial projects. You will work across a wide range of brands, including Maxa, Volta, Samsung, and Mitsubishi, and be responsible for ensuring all installations comply with company, manufacturer, and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain air and ground source heat pump systems across South West England
- Work on domestic and residential installations, with occasional commercial or public sector projects
- Install full heating systems including radiators, underfloor heating, thermostatic controllers, hot water cylinders, buffers, and other site-specific equipment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards
- Document all work using the company installer app
- Adhere to company quality, safety, and performance standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum 5 years experience in plumbing, heating, and heat pump installation
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing and Heating
- G3 Certificate
- Unvented Cylinder qualification
- WRAS Water Regulations knowledge
- Experience installing air source heat pumps
Desirable Qualifications
- BPEC Level 3 Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) qualification
- Gas Safe certification
