ODRL (Organisation Development & Research Limited) is seeking to recruit a part time Applied Researcher to work on a contract basis for existing client projects. The post will suit someone who has a Masters Degree or is currently pursuing a part time PhD (or has recently completed one) in one of the following subject areas: development economics, international development, international relations, geo-politics or political science. The initial job duration is for 6 months with scope to extend this.
A salient component of the role involves researching, curating and writing innovative research content often encompassing complex geo-political contexts and current issues facing organisations. The candidate will have a strong analytical background and be accustomed to working with and presenting socio-economic data concisely and communicatively. In addition, he/she will have experience and an understanding in global geo-political issues and international development. The role requires candidates to have strong academic writing capabilities.
