Blow Moulding Machine Operator | Birkenhead, Wirral | Full Time | Working hours are 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00, alternating weekly, Monday to Friday | £32,000–£35,000 per annum Our client is a privately-owned company specialising in the production and supply of household laundry and cleaning products. They supply several national and international customers with their own brand of laundry and cleaning products. They are currently seeking a full-time Blow Moulding Machine Operator to join their expanding team within the technical department. To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience operating stretch blow moulding machinery (essential) A good understanding of mechanical concepts and a willingness to develop technically FLT licence (preferred) Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment What will your role look like? Prepare and set up the Two-Stage Stretch Blow Mould Machine (SMI – Rotary type) Operate and monitor machinery to produce PET bottles to the required quality standards Perform mould changeovers and install accessories as needed Conduct routine quality inspections and carry out basic maintenance tasks Work closely with the operations team to meet production targets Manage and monitor performance process parameters and coordinate with the Operations Manager Record machine parameters, maintenance activities and production data accurately Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment Assist in diagnosing and resolving machine faults or product defects What’s next?
