Sous Chef – £40,000 to £45,000 + £5k Bonus

West London – Open Plan Kitchen – Immediate Start or Short Notice

We’re looking for an organised, motivated and passionate Sous Chef to join a growing restaurant brand in West London.

The concept:

  • Modern European small plates cooked over charcoal
  • Small, open kitchen team with long-term employees
  • 40-cover restaurant doing up to 120 covers on a busy night
  • Fire-led cooking, guest-facing kitchen, seasonal menus
  • Culinary Director with a strong industry reputation
  • Growth plans include 2–3 new sites in the next 24 months

The role:

  • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Lead the pass and manage busy services
  • Train, mentor and support junior chefs
  • Oversee food prep, ordering and stock management
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness and compliance
  • Contribute to new dish development and menu planning
  • Ensure consistency and pace during high-volume service

This is a full-time role across 5 days. Ideally, we’re looking for someone available now with fire cooking experience, but we’re happy to wait 3–4 weeks for the right candidate. Strong Junior Sous Chefs from modern European kitchens will also be considered.
