A well-established, privately owned hotel is looking for a Sous Chef to join a growing kitchen team. The operation includes:
- Busy restaurant service
- Strong banqueting and events trade (including weddings)
- Seasonal menu changes and high-volume periods
You will work across all sections and support the Head Chef in delivering consistent, high-quality food across both restaurant and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen sections during service with confidence
- Prepare and plate dishes to a high standard
- Support menu development and seasonal changes
- Assist with functions and large-scale events
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
- Help manage stock, ordering, and rotation
- Step in for the Head Chef when required
