About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistants to join the opening team of a new premium café concept. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, delivering excellent service, and creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of the café, providing a warm welcome to guests, delivering efficient service, supporting daily operations, and ensuring products are presented to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests
- Take and process orders accurately using the POS system
- Recommend products and promote daily specials
- Maintain high standards of product presentation and display
- Support opening, closing, and general café operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory tasks
- Develop strong menu and product knowledge to confidently advise guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, café, or hospitality is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Confidence handling payments and basic numeracy
- Positive attitude with a team-focused approach
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
Schedule
Full-time position with shift patterns based on operational requirements.
