Schedule: 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day including weekends

We are seeking an experienced Coffee Bar & Terrace Manager to lead a busy and well-established coffee bar, terrace and grab-and-go operation. This is a key leadership role for someone who combines excellent hospitality standards, operational discipline and commercial awareness.

The successful candidate will oversee daily service, develop team capability and work closely with the Kitchen and Deli teams to deliver a strong coffee, pastry and light food offering. The role requires someone who enjoys building structure, improving systems and creating a calm, efficient service environment, even during busy periods. This position is ideal for a strong café or coffee shop manager who is passionate about quality service, food and coffee, and who enjoys developing teams and improving operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership
    • Lead the daily operation of the Coffee Bar, Terrace and Grab & Go service
    • Ensure smooth service flow and strong organisation during peak periods
    • Maintain clear service standards and structured workflows
    • Ensure high standards of hygiene, presentation and product display
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Recruit, train and support Coffee Bar & Terrace team members
    • Build a motivated, professional and customer-focused team
    • Encourage discipline, accountability and collaboration
    • Identify development opportunities and support skill growth
  • Product & Customer Experience
    • Work closely with the Chef on desserts, pastries, sandwiches, wraps, quiches and seasonal items
    • Ensure alignment between Coffee Bar service and kitchen production
    • Translate customer feedback into product and service improvements
    • Maintain an attractive and commercially effective display
  • Systems & Operations
    • Implement structured opening and closing procedures
    • Maintain strong stock discipline and product rotation
    • Track operational performance including sales, waste and peak service patterns
    • Contribute to operational systems that improve efficiency and consistency
  • Commercial Performance
    • Monitor key indicators such as average transaction value, waste levels and service flow
    • Identify opportunities for bundling, cross-selling and improving sales
    • Provide operational insights to support menu planning and purchasing
