About the Business

A fast-growing, multi-site hospitality and workplace experience business is expanding its portfolio of premium venues designed for modern professionals, businesses and communities. With a number of successful locations already operating and further sites planned, the business is entering an exciting period of growth and is looking to build the structure and team required to support an increasing number of events and experiences across its venues. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the events function, develop processes from the ground up and play a key part in shaping how events are delivered as the business continues to scale.

The Role

As Central Events Manager, you will be responsible for managing all incoming event enquiries across a growing portfolio of venues. You will act as the key link between clients and onsite teams, ensuring every event is planned accurately, communicated effectively and delivered to an exceptional standard. This role will oversee the full event journey from the initial enquiry and client conversation, through to operational planning and supporting delivery on the day. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes and taking ownership in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming event enquiries via phone and email
  • Build strong relationships with clients and understand their event objectives and requirements
  • Gather all relevant information including guest numbers, timings, layouts, catering needs and operational requirements
  • Ensure enquiries are progressed efficiently and handed over clearly to the relevant venue teams
  • Provide a professional and seamless client journey from first contact through to event completion

Event Planning & Operations

  • Create clear event briefs and ensure all teams have the information required to deliver successfully
  • Work closely with venue teams to coordinate event requirements and operational details
  • Support onsite teams with preparation and execution of events
  • Attend events where required to ensure a smooth start and excellent client experience
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving issues and ensuring events run smoothly

Building the Events Function

  • Develop and implement processes, systems and best practices for managing events across multiple venues
  • Create consistency across locations as the business expands
  • Identify opportunities to improve the event experience for both clients and internal teams
  • Help shape the future events strategy and operating model

Future Growth Opportunities

As the business continues to develop its food and hospitality offering, including plans for a centralised production kitchen, this role will work closely with the wider food and operations teams to support enhanced event catering options and experiences.

About You

You are an experienced events professional who is comfortable taking ownership and creating structure in a growing business. You will ideally have experience within events, hospitality, workplace experiences, hotels, private members clubs or a similar client-focused environment.
