The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, charismatic Assistant General Manager to join us in launching and leading this exciting new concept. You’ll be on the floor, engaging with guests, motivating your team, and setting the tone every day. This role is for someone who leads by example, with energy, personality, and a natural ability to inspire those around them. As AGM, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, support the General Manager, and ensure every guest leaves wanting to return.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front, be visible, approachable, and hands-on in service.
  • Inspire, coach, and energise a front-of-house team of around 15.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere.
  • Support the GM with all aspects of operations, from P&L management to events.
  • Drive sales, control costs, and maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Champion training and development, building a motivated, high-performing team.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service.

About You

  • Proven experience as an AGM or strong Restaurant Manager in a quality-led, high-volume restaurant or bar.
  • A true people person – confident, charismatic, and great with guests and staff alike.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and happiest when on the floor leading from the front.
  • Strong operational understanding – from labour management to GP control.
  • Passionate about food, drinks, and creating memorable experiences.
  • Ambitious, positive, and excited to help grow a new independent brand.
