Sales Assistant – Premium Café Concept Location: Central London Job Type: Full-time Salary: £28,000 per year About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistants to join the opening team of a new premium café concept. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, delivering excellent service, and creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of the café, providing a warm welcome to guests, delivering efficient service, supporting daily operations, and ensuring products are presented to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional service to all guests Take and process orders accurately using the POS system Recommend products and promote daily specials Maintain high standards of product presentation and display Support opening, closing, and general café operations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas Assist with stock replenishment and inventory tasks Develop strong menu and product knowledge to confidently advise guests Requirements Previous experience in retail, café, or hospitality is preferred but not essential Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Confidence handling payments and basic numeracy Positive attitude with a team-focused approach Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays Schedule Full-time position with shift patterns based on operational requirements.
