Moss Valley Market Garden has an exciting opportunity to join our small but dynamic team as a part-time grower / veg bag packer. We are based on the Sheffield Organic Growers site, a cluster of 4 independent organic market gardens, on the southern outskirts of Sheffield in the beautiful Moss Valley. We grow vegetables and fruit and manage a small flock of laying hens on a 1.3 acre site and we are certified organic and biodynamic with the Biodynamic Association. Our main sales are through a veg bag delivery scheme, delivering up to 200 bags per week across Sheffield.

We are looking for an individual to join us for 2 to 3 days per week with veg bag packing, delivering and growing duties. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to organic principles, a clean driving licence and ideally some organic growing experience. Commercial experience is preferred but not essential. Working hours are typically 8am to 5pm but some flexibility is required.

We are hoping to increase our land base in the next couple of years so the role we are offering has the potential to expand. The standard hourly rate is £9.90 per hour rising to £11.19 for overtime hours. Statutory holiday entitlement. Full terms and conditions will be given in your contract upon offer of employment.

Interviews will be held throughout February. Closing Date: 28th February.
