MISSION: As part of its ongoing projects, ORECA Motorsport is looking for a Technical Lead – Composites Industrialization (M/F) based in Signes, near the Paul Ricard Circuit in the Var region (France). As a key reference for composite manufacturing methods, you will work with a high level of autonomy on the development, validation and optimization of manufacturing processes, in a demanding environment driven by performance and tight deadlines.
Your Role: As part of the industrial organization, you will contribute to:
- Structuring manufacturing methods and standards
- Providing daily, hands-on operational support to workshop teams
Reporting to the Head of Design Office, you are a proactive, hands-on contributor who coordinates activities between design, industrialization, and production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and structure production processes and develop complete documentation for manufacturing
- Design and validate production tooling (molds, fixtures, specific tools)
- Perform reverse engineering of workshop-developed prototypes to secure and industrialize selected solutions
- Create 3D and 2D ply books with associated work instructions (trimming, bonding, assembly, etc.)
- Build and maintain Bills of Materials (MBOM) for manufacturing
- Update and continuously improve technical documentation by integrating operator feedback
- Ensure proper application of manufacturing instructions, both internally and with suppliers
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement processes, considering quality, cost and delivery constraints
PROFILE: Engineering degree with significant experience (10+ years) in composite manufacturing processes, ideally in a high-performance industrial environment (motorsport, aerospace, racing, low-volume production).
Key Skills:
- Ability to structure methods while remaining deeply involved in hands-on, operational activities
- Comfortable working as an interface between Design Office, workshop teams and suppliers
