Key Account Manager at Orean is responsible for building deep client relationships, managing full P&L accountability, and delivering on annual sales budgets. You will act as a trusted advisor to our brand partners, identifying growth opportunities for both new and existing products.
Location: Cleckheaton, BD19 4TT (with travel to customers and events as required)

At Orean, we are passionate about collaboration, ambition, expertise, integrity, and agility. As an Account Manager, you will be a key commercial driver—building strong client relationships, aligning internal teams, and identifying opportunities to grow our customers' brands and our business.
This role blends relationship management with commercial acumen, including full P&L accountability for your accounts and responsibility for presenting, working toward, and delivering on annual sales budgets.
The Responsibilities:- Account Ownership: Lead and grow defined customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Annual Budgeting: Build and manage annual sales budgets for each account, presenting strategies to deliver and exceed targets.
- Commercial Development: Proactively identify and pitch new opportunities to grow sales—both through current lines and new product development.
- Financial Control: Prepare accurate cost models and margin-focused pricing aligned with company strategy. Maintain full P&L responsibility for your accounts.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct regular customer meetings, visits, and presentations to strengthen relationships and track project progression.
- Project Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams across NPD, operations, and finance to deliver outstanding service.
- Contract Negotiation: Manage and negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements.
- Customer Planning Agreements (CPA): Create and monitor CPAs aligned with customer growth and internal capacity.
- A proven track record in Account Management, ideally in the health & beauty or personal care manufacturing space.
- At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing-based commercial role.
- Strong negotiation, budgeting, and sales planning skills.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills—confident with stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive, flexibility, and professionalism—willingness to travel and represent Orean at events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
