We are looking for a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Operative with experience in chemical processing and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, contributing to the production of premium cosmetic products.

  • Job type Permanent
  • Hours per week 12-hour shifts 5am – 5pm (3 x on and 3 x off)
  • Reporting to Manufacturing Shift Manager

The Responsibilities.

  • Carry out batch processing, including weighing, dispensing, and mixing chemicals.
  • Operate equipment to produce a wide range of personal care products.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), approved methods, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment and work areas.
  • Complete and sign off all batch documentation accurately and in line with procedures.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and testing.
  • Accurately input data for stock control and maintain records.
  • Monitor and manage chemical stock levels.
  • Support housekeeping and health & safety standards across the department.
  • Assist the Manufacturing Manager with any additional duties as required.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in chemical weighing and mixing in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (personal care, food, or pharmaceutical preferred).
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Computer literate – proficient in using Excel, Word, and data entry systems.
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations.
