About the Role

The Finance Analyst plays a vital role in delivering accurate revenue recognition and reporting. You will support strong financial processes, systems, and controls while providing detailed revenue analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Recognition & Compliance
    • Ensure revenue recognition compliant with accounting standards.
    • Maintain accurate deferred revenue schedules and manage required adjustments.
    • Support statutory audits by providing timely and accurate documentation.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports.
    • Conduct variance analysis on customer revenue and deliver actionable insight.
    • Review revenue outturns and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process Management
    • Lead month‑end close activities, including accrual reversals, deferred revenue releases, and journal postings.
    • Maintain and enhance ERP systems and related processes.
    • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Customer Account Managers to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Provide clear, timely financial information to internal stakeholders.
    • Improve organisational understanding of revenue data, processes, and policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferable but not essential).
  • Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on time critical tasks.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Previous experience in revenue accounting or financial analysis.
  • Confident communicator, able to work cross‑functionally.
