Come and work for The Ordinary Life Project Association (OLPA), an innovative, dynamic and vibrant Wiltshire based Charity providing a range of housing and support options for people with Learning Disabilities and/or mental illnesses. OLPA has a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced and qualified Part-time Outreach Supervisor to supervise the Outreach Services for adults with learning disabilities.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality within this service, leading a highly motivated team of 8 Support Workers and implementing ways of joint working within this service. You will have achieved the Health and Social Care Diploma level 3 qualification. As our Outreach Supervisor, you will carry out the role demonstrating a person-centred approach with a warm, confident and professional manner. Experience of leading a team is preferred.

We will expect you to have the vision, networking and organisational ability to deliver excellent outcomes for the people we support and to implement initiatives which connect the people we support to their local community. You must be a confident and accountable practitioner with the ability to put quality standards into practice.

You must have skills in positive communication and engagement and be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You must be able to write clear assessments, support plans and guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos. You must be able to lead the team with confidence and provide clear guidance, supervision and support to your team members.

You will be able to communicate positively and professionally with the families of the people we support, their advocates and other outside professionals. You will be expected to have regular direct contact with the people we support and attend person-centred reviews. You will be required to support the Outreach Service Co-ordinator with rotas and to work in a flexible manner yourself including occasional evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
