Ashwood Care Centre is living at its finest, combining the best research into care design with our 1,000 year history of providing support. It is one of the best places in the country for people living with dementia or needing nursing care. The home offers 82 beds and is situated in a quiet residential street, surrounded by beautiful gardens with large ash and oak trees.

Contracted hours: 18 hours per week, 3x 6 hour shifts, 7am to 4pm

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Laundry Assistant you’ll be responsible for providing a laundry service for our residents; this includes the operation of commercial washing, drying and finishing machinery. You’ll ensure the laundry area is safe, clean and tidy at all times and that all laundry is processed in an efficient and timely manner. Some of our residents love to join in with simple laundry tasks, so you may sometimes find that you have extra help as you carry out your daily routines.
