ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced carer with a desire to progress your career to the next level? Do you prefer to work nights? Our care teams make a real difference every day and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Leading a small team of carers, you'll be responsible for keeping wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home in general. You'll ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed, maintain accurate records, and manage the time of yourself and your team effectively to support the wellbeing of our residents. You'll understand that some shifts might be challenging, but you'll also laugh, have fun and make lasting memories with our residents. In joining us, you'll also become part of our extended family. You'll work alongside other team members passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to all those who live and work in our homes. Icknield Court care home is conveniently located close to the town centre of Princes Risborough and within easy reach of High Wycombe. The care home provides a friendly and modern living environment and offers 90 individual rooms across six separate wings with many facilities and plenty of outdoor and communal space, allowing residents to participate in stimulating social activities.

ABOUT YOU

You'll have a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or an NVQ Level 2 with a plan to study for Level 3. You are experienced in leading a care team, keen to progress to higher responsibility, and willing to undertake relevant training for career development. You are a positive role model with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others.
