Deputy Home Manager – Nursing | Active NMC PIN required
Location: Larkrise Care Centre, Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: Β£49,000 per annum
Contracted hours: 37.5 per week
Shift times: 08:30 to 17:00, Monday β Friday
Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager with the management of the home, including rota planning and staff recruitment
- Oversee induction and mandatory training for team members
- Ensure the clinical needs of residents are recognised, assessed and met where possible
- Monitor and manage individual employee performance; address issues through appropriate channels
- Contribute to occupancy management, care standards, and team leadership to maintain high-quality care

About the Home
Larkrise Care Centre is located in a quiet street in Banbury and offers compassionate, individualised residential, dementia and nursing care for up to 60 residents in calm, friendly and comfortable surroundings. The specialist home environment incorporates features that promote reminiscence as therapy and enhance the quality of life for people living with dementia.
About You
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) with willingness to work towards Level 4 or 5
- Active NMC PIN and experience in a senior or team leader nursing role within elderly care
- Previous management experience in a multi-disciplinary care setting with a willingness to contribute to marketing and finance to support occupancy growth and cost management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a commitment to high standards of care
