This role is a permanent Staff Nurse position at a small nursing home in Ipswich, focused on delivering high‑quality care to elderly residents, including those with dementia. The role offers mixed shifts with a pay rate of £22 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, assess, deliver and evaluate individual care.
- Organise and motivate care staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Assist in inductions and orientations of new care staff.
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate drug records (storage, maintenance and use).
- Provide the highest standards of medical or palliative care at all times.
Qualifications / Skills Required
- Qualified as a registered nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for elderly and dementia care.
- Dedication to providing the highest levels of care.
- Previous experience within a similar setting.
- Minimum six months of nursing experience.
