Orchestrade Technical Sales Engineer Description Technical Sales Engineer, Capital Markets Mission of the Role: To act as the primary technical bridge between Orchestradeโs powerful financial software and the complex needs of prospective clients. You will be the product expert in the sales process, building trust and demonstrating value by architecting solutions that solve real-world problems for the world\’s leading financial institutions. Solution Architecting: Collaborate with the sales team to understand the business and technical requirements of prospective clients. Product Evangelism: Lead compelling, in-depth product demonstrations and technical workshops that showcase the full breadth of Orchestrade\’s capabilities, from trade lifecycle management to PnL and risk analytics via APIs. Serve as the go-to technical resource for the sales team, responding to detailed client queries, RFIs, and RFPs with accuracy and confidence. Client Feedback Loop: Translate client feedback into actionable insights for the product development and engineering teams, directly influencing the future of the platform. Experience: +4 years of experience in a technical role within the financial technology (FinTech) or capital markets sector (e.g., as a software developer, support engineer, quant, or a similar pre-sales role). Technical Depth: Strong foundational knowledge of software engineering principles. Comfortable with complex enterprise architectures, databases (SQL), and scripting (e.g., Python, shell). Experience with financial messaging protocols (e.g., Financial knowledge: A solid understanding of financial instruments across multiple asset classes (e.g., You must be able to \”speak the language\” of traders, portfolio managers, and CTOs in the Finance space. You listen more than you speak, and your primary goal is to build trust by genuinely helping clients achieve their objectives. Composure & Credibility: You project confidence and poise in high-stakes client meetings.
