We are seeking a technically focused Business Analyst – Product Control to support the design, development, and delivery of product control and financial systems solutions. This role will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications, and supporting the implementation of scalable system enhancements.
The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications and test scenarios, identify and resolve defects, and support the implementation of new features and system enhancements. Strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in financial systems and technology are essential for success in this role.
The Business Analyst will support the growth of Orchestrade through research, development validation and direct interaction with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Review development tickets, business requirements, and functional specifications to understand the expected system behavior and acceptance criteria.
- Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Validate delivered enhancements, bug fixes, and new features to ensure they meet business requirements and development specifications.
- Perform detailed testing of product control and financial systems, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and expected processing outcomes.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, working closely with developers to investigate issues and validate fixes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing test data, coordinating test execution, and assisting business users with issue clarification.
- Validate system workflows, trade lifecycle processes, and platform performance to ensure consistent and reliable processing across applications.
- Participate in release validation activities, including deployment verification, smoke testing, and post-release checks.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of development items.
- Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, release notes, and internal knowledge base materials to support auditability and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, quality standards, and testing coverage across the platform.
