Join us as our first SDR hire and play a pivotal role in building our outbound motion. You will work directly with Hugo Lu and the commercial team to identify prospects, create pipeline, and fuel Orchestra's growth. This is an incredible opportunity for someone hungry to start their career with a world class B2B SAAS team and quickly progress to the role of AE in a high-growth environment.
About Orchestra: Orchestra is an AI-native data pipelining platform building the future of data orchestration observability. We have built a declarative framework allowing data engineers to explicitly declare how their data pipelines behave. Think CI/CD but for data teams! Backed by VCs from San Francisco, New York and London with angels from across the data space and beyond.
What You'll Do: You'll be responsible for generating and qualifying opportunities that directly drive revenue growth. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Outbound Prospecting: Researching target accounts, building lead lists, and reaching out via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Qualification: Running discovery calls and assessing prospect fit against our ICP.
- Product Evangelism: Clearly articulating the value of Orchestra and generating excitement with prospects.
- Pipeline Support: Setting up high-quality meetings for the commercial team and ensuring smooth handover of leads.
- Event Motion: Attending and supporting our events (online and in-person), engaging with prospects, and driving follow-ups.
- Growth Foundation: Laying the groundwork for a high-performing SDR function as we expand.
About you:
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a sales, SDR, or BDR role (ideally in SaaS or tech). Recent graduates with strong extracurricular sales/entrepreneurial experience will also be considered.
- Execution: Evidence of consistently hitting or exceeding KPIs (meetings booked, pipeline generated).
- Self-Starter: Hungry to succeed, with a growth mindset and the ability to operate independently in a startup environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you're equally confident in either medium and can quickly build rapport.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using modern sales tools (Salesforce/HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach/other sequencing tools).
- Location: You live in the UK and will come to our London office 3 days a week.
