We are partnered with an IT consultancy based in London but with a global presence who are leading advisors for their clients by creating lasting value. They have a new opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who understands why a project matters to the business, not just whether it's on schedule. The projects are varied and you’ll be managing a range of work including but not limited to software delivery implementations, brand launches, website re-platforms and M&A integrations. Some projects will be quick with a 5-week turnaround, longer scope projects are usually around 6-8 months. You’ll be working on a global scale and with a range of stakeholders including C-suite project sponsors.

The methodology is Iterative but what matters most is that you are flexible enough to figure out what the situation actually needs rather than defaulting to a rigid process. If phrases like “highly adaptable” or “comfortable with ambiguity” make you uncomfortable this probably isn’t the right environment for you. As one recent starter put it, “Everyday is a surprise and your day can change with one message”. If that sounds like the kind of environment that excites you then you’ll get the chance to work with some fantastic people on some really interesting projects.

The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

  • A strong generalist Project Management background and experience working at a senior level managing projects independently and with multiple workstreams.
  • Experience in Consultancy, marketing, media or a start-up where deadlines are quick and processes are adaptable.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with excellent problem-solving abilities and high organisation.
  • Experience working with external clients and nurturing client relationships with repeat business would be advantageous.

This client will give you the opportunity to gain great exposure to working with senior execs in the business whilst working on a diverse range of projects globally. They offer a package that includes private medical insurance, pension contribution, professional development budgets and a flexible benefits fund.

If you are interested to find out more please apply for the role with an up-to-date copy of your CV. If you have any questions that you would like to discuss first, please call Adam on 07425 559 243.
