Contract: Full Time 37 Hours a week. Permanent

Hours: 8:00-4:00 Monday to Thursday. 8:00-3:30 Fridays

Purpose: To provide technical assistance and support activities to teaching staff and the designated manager in their role of undertaking teaching and student support in the delivery of the curriculum.

Duties:

  • Standard equivalent to at least a GCSE Grade 4 in English and Maths
  • Literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to understand and apply the Health and Safety regulations which apply to the work of a technician
  • Experience of working within standard policies and procedures - including purchasing, health and safety, equalities and safeguarding
  • Hold a current driving licence
  • Belief in and commitment to Orchard School Bristol values and vision
  • Commitment to the wellbeing, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school

Fluency Duty: This role has been identified as falling within the definition of requiring fluency in spoken English. You will be required to speak English with confidence and be able to conduct a conversation and answer questions for extended periods of time.
