With continued growth experienced across many areas of the business, they are actively seeking an Accountant with Tax experience.
Reporting to the Associate Director (Tax), the Accountant will work in the tax and accounting team which is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and relevant submissions for a wide range of CSP clients alongside dealing with general practice clients in relation to personal and company tax compliance, tax advisory and financial statement preparation.
Specific duties will include: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns & submissions for CSP clientsMaintaining company accounting records using Sage and XeroPreparation of financial statements up to review stage with a view to progressing and becoming the reviewerPreparation of iXBRL financial Statements for submission to HMRCPreparation of company/individual and trust tax computations and tax returns for submission to both the Isle of Man tax office and HMRCLiaising with HMRC and the IOM Income Tax Office as necessaryLiaising with clients and with the various teams in the business to manage the various submission deadlinesThe ideal candidate for the role of Accountant will have: Experience xohmjla in preparation of financial statementsFamiliarity with FRS 102 and FRS 105Ability to research legislation and draft detailed reports for reviewAttention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skillsBe versatile and adaptable, organised and able to meet deadlinesDesirable: Experience of Isle of Man and UK tax would be advantageous, but training will be provided
