Our client, a regional contractor, is seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes (Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Retail) throughout Yorkshire. Due to secured works in the region of 90m for 2025, they now need an experienced Project Manager to lead projects valued between 500K and 25m.
Job Description:
- Confirm building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
- Coordinate site & utility preparation (pre-construction)
- Create work schedules to ensure projects are completed before deadlines
- Purchase or hire building equipment and materials
- Oversee building projects to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards
- Monitor construction budgets to minimize overspending
- Provide progress reports to clients via phone, email, or meetings
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Liaise with site management regarding build programmes and updates
