Overview

Role: Project Manager

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £70,000/£75,000 + Package (DOE)

Our client, a regional contractor, are seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes (Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Retail) throughout Yorkshire. Due to secured works in the region of £90m for 2025 they now have the need to bring in an experienced Project Manager to lead on projects between the value of £500K-£25m.

Responsibilities

  • Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
  • Coordinating Site & Utility preparation (pre-construction)
  • Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
  • Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
  • Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
  • Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
  • Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person
  • Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Liaising with Site Management in terms of build programmes and updates
