We are looking for an experienced Joinery Site Manager / Foreman to oversee a fast-paced shopfitting project in Kirkby, Liverpool. This is a hands-on site management role, responsible for coordinating a team of approximately 15 joinery contractors while ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of around 15 joinery contractors.
- Coordinate daily site activities and maintain programme schedules.
- Produce and update weekly progress reports.
- Monitor and manage project programmes.
- Carry out site inductions for all operatives.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Liaise with the project team, client, and subcontractors.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on joinery or shopfitting projects.
- Strong knowledge of shopfitting and interior fit-out.
- Ability to produce weekly reports and manage project programmes.
- Experience carrying out site inductions and managing health and safety.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS (SMSTS preferred).
- Valid CSCS card.
- First Aid at Work certification is desirable.
