Our Client, a leading Douglas-based firm of Chartered Accountants, are experiencing continued growth and are now seeking an additional Pensions Administrator to join their busy pensions team.

Duties will include:

  • Administration of established pensions and processing new joiners
  • Maintaining accurate data on all client files together with full documentation
  • Respond to queries by phone, letter, and email, use a computer system to check and update records
  • Calculating and processing pension benefits
  • Process money paid towards a person's pension and processing withdrawals for invoices and pensions
  • Transfer benefits from one pension to another, arrange the payment of pensions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Adhering to internal processes and procedures ensuring all regulatory requirements are understood and maintained
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

The ideal candidate for the role of Pensions Administrator will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an office-based role
  • Either English and Mathematics at grade C or above, or 2+ A levels at grade C or above
  • Good level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisation skills and time management skills
  • High level of confidentiality required and good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of GDPR and handling sensitive information
