Our Client is an international provider of Corporate Services & Global Expansion, Active Wealth and Fund Solutions, with offices across multiple jurisdictions and territories. They now require an experienced Head of AEOI to join the team.
As Head of AEOI you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with global tax reporting obligations, specifically focusing on FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), CRS (Common Reporting Standard), and other relevant AEOI frameworks. The role involves leading the end-to-end AEOI reporting process, supporting the wider group with technical inquiries, implementing reporting solutions, and leading technology automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
The ideal candidate for the role of Head of AEOI will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Law, or a related field; Advanced Degree or Professional certification
- Proven track record in the fiduciary services industry in senior role(s)
- 5+ years of experience in AEOI reporting, FATCA/CRS compliance, and tax-related roles within the fiduciary services industry
- Proven experience in managing technology-driven reporting processes
- Familiarity with global tax regulations, particularly in fiduciary contexts
- Experience in Project and Change Management is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of AEOI, FATCA, CRS, and other global tax reporting frameworks
- Experience with tax reporting software and automation tools (e.g., XML Schema, reporting platforms)
- Proficient in data analytics, manipulation, and validation using Excel, SQL, or similar tools
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting systems and standards
