FETTLER / METAL FINISHER – IMMEDIATE START We are currently looking for an experienced Fettler / Metal Finisher to join a busy manufacturing environment working Nights. The Role:
- Fettling and finishing fabricated metal components
- Grinding and dressing welds
- Removing excess material, weld spatter and sharp edges
- Using angle grinders, die grinders and other hand tools
- Preparing components for painting, blasting or the next stage of production
- Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
- Working from drawings and job specifications where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
* Working to production targets and deadlines The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Fettler, Metal Finisher, Fabricator or Welder
- Confident using grinders and workshop hand tools
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Experience working with mild steel or fabricated components is advantageous What’s on offer:
