In this hands-on role, you will assemble products to agreed design specifications and quality standards, helping deliver great quality, uniquely comfortable sofas.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble frames to methods set by Design and Development
- Work to documented company quality standards and training requirements
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE such as FFP3 masks, eye and ear protection and safety footwear
- Maintain good housekeeping standards, keeping work areas and workstations tidy, safe and in full working order
- Keep tools and equipment tidy, safe and ready for use
- Handle products correctly to prevent damage to the product and to work safely
- Ensure training records are kept up to date
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required
Required Experience and Skills
- Ideally hold experience in Furniture manufacturing
- Will have experience in assembly, manufacturing, woodwork
- Experience of working in similar environments
- Can effectively follow drawings and specifications
- A positive attitude and willingness to follow training and documented procedures
