We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lecturer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about education and making a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective planning of teaching/learning within work and employment curriculum areas.
  • Implementing appropriate assessment, objective setting, recording, reporting and evaluation of educational work programmes.
  • Ensuring that student learning experiences meet the needs of individuals and groups, promoting progression, continuity and quality of learning.
  • Use a variety of suitable teaching and learning styles to communicate clear learning objectives and expectations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or alternative teaching qualification.
  • Experience in delivering good or outstanding Functional Skills and employability lessons from Entry level to Level 2.
  • Recent experience of teaching students with special education needs and barriers to learning.
  • Able to demonstrate effective planning of employment educational programmes for adults with learning difficulties, disabilities and barriers to learning including SEMH and those that are NEET.
