The predicted salary is between 33865 - 41391 Β£ per year.

The successful candidate will play a key role in embedding Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) values throughout the college, supporting the development and delivery of educational content tailored to learners' individual needs and goals.

With supervision from the PBS Clinical Lead and input from an integrated therapy team, you will help reduce restrictive practices, promote quality of life, and ensure the active co-production of support strategies with learners and their families or caregivers.,

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Promote and embed PBS values throughout college activities, fostering a proactive, person-centred approach to behaviour support.
  • Conduct and contribute to Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) in collaboration with the PBS Clinical Lead and the integrated therapy team.
  • Design, implement, and monitor PBS plans and behavioural interventions that focus on improving quality of life and reducing behaviours of concern.
  • Work to reduce and eliminate the use of unnecessary restrictive practices, using least-restrictive, preventative, and positive strategies.
  • Support learners, families, and staff in understanding and applying PBS strategies, with a focus on inclusion, respect, and human rights.
  • Ensure that all behaviour support planning is co-produced with learners and their families/caregivers, reflecting their values, preferences, and goals.
  • Experience supporting individuals with SEN, learning disabilities, or autism in educational or care settings.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, including behaviour assessment and intervention.
  • Experience working collaboratively with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Compassionate, respectful, and learner-centred in approach.
  • Skilled at building trust and meaningful partnerships with learners and their families.
