We are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to join our therapy team at Bedelsford School, part of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust.
Location and hours
- Location: Bedelsford School, Grange Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey KT1 2QZ
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week, Term Time Only
- 1 day working from home to be negotiated

Bedelsford School is an outstanding special school based in Kingston which provides innovative education and a supportive environment for pupils aged 2 to 19. The school provides places for 120 pupils with a wide range of physical disabilities including those with profound and multiple learning difficulties, moderate learning difficulties and complex health needs. The school benefits from specialist facilities including an accessible swimming pool, adapted outdoor play areas and an outdoor learning environment. It is within walking distance of the vibrant town centre of Kingston upon Thames and has excellent transport links. Bedelsford School keenly takes account of the development of neuroscientific knowledge and research to develop the skills of the staff team. Role and responsibilities
We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our therapy team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist, registered with the HCPC.
- Has experience in special educational needs and working with pupils with dysphagia needs.
- Has the ability to inspire and develop pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Has high professional standards.
