Location: Brantridge School, Staplefield, West Sussex

Contract Type: Term-time

Working Pattern: 2:45pm – 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 1:45pm – 5:00pm, Friday

Salary: R1, Scale points 1-6, £23,746 - £25,312. Pro rata £9

Brantridge School is a nurturing and inclusive special needs school dedicated to supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism, and associated learning difficulties. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive Facilities Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly site team. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the school, ensuring hygiene standards are consistently high for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Duties include:

  • General cleaning of classrooms, therapy rooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
  • Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Safe use of cleaning products and equipment, in line with COSHH regulations
  • Reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues promptly
  • Adhering to safeguarding and confidentiality procedures at all times

  • Is punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
  • Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Understands the importance of cleanliness in a school setting
