Salary: Grade PO4, £49,050 - £52,187 inclusive of Outer London Weighting.
Location: Copthall House, 9 The Pavement, Grove Road, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 1DA
Working Pattern: 36 hours per week; 8.45 am – 4.30 pm Monday‑Thursday, and 8.45 am – 4.15 pm Friday, with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering complex estates capital projects on time and within budget, operating within tight school and college holiday delivery windows.
- Lead end‑to‑end project management in education environments, ensuring specifications are effectively scoped with building surveyors, commissioning partners, and school/college leadership teams.
- Manage capital and revenue budgets in partnership with Finance, including expenditure tracking, forecasting, and detailed financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver projects that enhance curriculum and non‑curriculum learning environments.
- Apply strong programme management expertise while building and maintaining effective relationships with professional partners and stakeholders.
- Recognised training/qualification in built asset project management (e.g. PRINCE2 or equivalent) or a relevant technical qualification or extensive equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrable successful experience in project management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
