Pay Rate: £12.88 per hour

Role Overview

As a Trainee Senior Care Assistant, you will receive comprehensive training and support from our experienced team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing your skills and progressing to a senior role
  • Assisting with daily activities of living and personal care
  • Creating a warm, supportive environment for residents
  • Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating personalized care plans
  • Administering medication in line with prescribed requirements
  • Leading, supervising, supporting, and developing the care team
  • Communicating effectively with external professionals, residents, and relatives
  • Implementing personalized care plans tailored to each resident\’s needs and providing specialized dementia care

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in social care
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (mandatory)
  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient
  • Willingness to learn and progress within the role, including undertaking a Level 3 qualification
