About the Role:
At Orchard Care Homes, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive personalized care that promotes their well-being and independence. Responsibilities include assessing individual needs, developing care plans, administering medication, and supporting a team of care staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous care experience, preferably in Older People’s or dementia care
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is preferred; Level 2 qualified candidates will be supported to achieve Level 3
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and evaluate personalized nursing care
- Respect residents’ dignity, privacy, and rights
- Lead and support the care team
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and professionals
