About the Role:

At Orchard Care Homes, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive personalized care that promotes their well-being and independence. Responsibilities include assessing individual needs, developing care plans, administering medication, and supporting a team of care staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous care experience, preferably in Older People’s or dementia care
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is preferred; Level 2 qualified candidates will be supported to achieve Level 3

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and evaluate personalized nursing care
• Respect residents’ dignity, privacy, and rights
• Lead and support the care team
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and professionals
