Peripatetic Care Home Manager

Travel to the following areas will be required: Yorkshire.

At Orchard Care Homes, we are expanding our operational support team and are now seeking to appoint a Peripatetic Care Home Manager for our Yorkshire Region.

As a Peripatetic Care Home Manager, youwill be responsible for supporting Care Home Managers to drive premium care quality and compliance across the region in addition to managing a specific care home in the absence of a Home Manager if required. Your role will include overseeing all elements of residents’ care, developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and driving business opportunities and maintaining budgets and controlling costs. You will be an inspiring leader, and whilst supporting the day to day operations of our care homes, you will be seeking new opportunities to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing for both our residents and our home teams.

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Care Home Manager within a dementia setting
  • An Adult Social Care qualification of level 5 or above (level 4 Registered Managers Award will be considered if willing to complete level 5)
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a demonstrated record of achieving Good/Outstanding ratings
  • Passionate about delivering and developing high standards of person-centred care
  • Demonstrated marketing and business development skills within the private care sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, professionals and home teams
  • The ability to travel to the following areas: Tyne and Wear, Durham, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire
