Introduction to the role

As a Nurse, your responsibilities include assessing individual needs, developing care plans, and ensuring physical, emotional, and medical needs are met. Safe medication administration is a priority, and our nurses receive additional training to maintain competency. You will support care staff to deliver excellent care, fostering a team-oriented environment. A current NMC registration, knowledge of clinical practices, experience in care planning, and understanding of regulatory frameworks are essential. We seek dedicated, compassionate, and approachable professionals committed to person-centred care.

Main Duties

  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalized nursing care to meet individual needs and Orchard standards.
  • Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, respecting privacy, independence, and choices.
  • Lead, support, and develop the care team.
  • Communicate effectively with external professionals, residents, and families.
