Support Worker (Dementia)

Location: Langfield Care Home – Wood Street, Langley, Middleton, Greater Manchester, M24 5QH

A NVQ level 2 (or above) certificate in Health and Social Care is required, along with at least 6 months experience in a Dementia care setting.

Rates Of Pay

• NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care: £13.81 per hour
• NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care: £14.64 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Supporting people to participate in appropriate leisure activities and activities of daily living, normalising life as much as possible with joy and happiness.
• Providing personal care with empathy and sensitivity
• Receiving tailored dementia training to enhance your skills and the lives of those you will support.
• Collaborating with a passionate, multidisciplinary team
